Mauser Military Bolt-Action Shoulder Arms Guide

A new Mauser Military Bolt Action Shoulder Arms guide is available exclusively here at MauserGuns.com!

Written by a long time Mauser collector, and regular contributor to our discussion board, Ronald K. Johnson has written this handy field guide for Mauser rifle collectors. His research and broad knowledge makes for a great reference guide to aid you in your purchases at gun shows or when browsing your local gun shop. Having collected Mauser military rifles for over 20 years the author began writing the guide for himself back in 1995 and has revised it many times over the years as more information became available. He used this guide for himself to keep track of what he was looking for in his collection. This newer version is now available to you exclusively at MauserGuns.com!

The guide only applies to rifles, no handguns, and not one-offs and handmade copies such as the Chinese, Japanese and Pakistani back-yard shop models or other extreme variations. The guide lists the rifles by major developments and country-usage. Information includes year introduced, model designation, type, caliber, characteristics, and dimensions. While it is not a complete guide to every model available, it has worked well for the author and a few gunsmiths that use it. The author states: "Any omissions are because I simply haven't found the information yet. In some cases, the info is directly from my own personal collection. I welcome verifiable information to add to the third edition.". There's approximately 300 country-types identified, grouped by major developments. "I tried to include who may have used the same weapons as well, so there's a little bit of history to be learned by reading through the guide." The guide was recently updated and its final form is half-page size, 8 pages long with a couple of pages for notes. Perfect for carrying with you while acquiring new Mauser rifles for your collection.

Testimonial: "A great reference on Mauser rifles. It's smaller size makes it easy for me to carry to gun shows. It's also useful as a checklist of what I have in my collection and what I need!"
- Tim Burke, Mauser Collector, Cincinnati OH
