HSc mag with finger extension?
« on: November 18, 2019, 05:11:25 PM »
Does an HSc mag with finger extension exist anywhere to buy? I think there were metal and post war plastic extensions. Anywhere to get just the extension to put on a mag?

Thanks, Scott

Scott, you can watch the listings on both eBay and GunBroker for a Finger Extension Magazine:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=1&_sacat=0&_nkw=mauser+hsc&rt=nc&_dmd=2
https://www.gunbroker.com/All/search?Keywords=HSc

I have never seen just the Extension Floorplate for sale.  You should know that there is a slight difference in width between the Wartime Magazine and Late Model Magazine so one might not fit the other.

Hope that answers your questions.

Scott,

They don't come up that often.  I got lucky in an auction and got one.  Good luck in your hunt.

I've got a post war mag with finger extension I most likely will be listing shortly.

So, I have a line on a couple of post war finger extension mags for the HSc. Does anyone know for sure if they will fit and function in a war time HSc?

Thanks, Scott

The one I have listed on gb will fit in the mag well of a 802k serial pistol. It's a tighter fit than the wartime mag. I actually haven't used it to fire the pistol so I can't say how it feeds. The opening bid on mine is $50.

Here is an example of the wartime metal version.

Not for sale, sorry.

On page 539 of our Paul Mauser book, we also show a very rare fingergrip magazine found with a Nickle Plated M1910/34 pistol.

And for completeness' sake, the rarest finger grip magazines for the HSc: 2 experimental .22lr magazines that came with Mauser HSc 02.0001.

These are unique one-offs, both of a different construction, with hand made aluminum alloy finger grip extensions.
