From the Weirmachawards forum a fake KM HSc come to light.  Serial 700228 has a fake eagle/M.  Pictures are on the Weirmachawards forum I think is in the weapons sub forum. It's been in the system since 2009.

Don,
I posted that thread on Wehrmacht Awards back in early 2010...and was in the process of preparing it to post on
this Mauser focused site where it certainly belongs.

Thats too bad, i totally agree with you Jim!

Bad copy it is, but i can see that this HSc has been used by the Norwegian police after may 1945, so this must come from Norway.
It has the Norwegian post war police marking on slide and serial 5098 on frame - so it was already "messed with"...


Records of the serial range for Norwegian police markings is 5001 to 5372, a total of 372 pistols...
