Mauser 1910/14
« on: June 10, 2014, 04:58:19 PM »
I recently bought  a Mauser 1910/14 cal .25 and looking for a 'Safety catch release' but can't find one.
I live in Belgium and some stores doesn't export those parts to Belgium, called in Belgium a lot of gun stores, nothing to find.
I have 2 Safety catch releases as new, but with the rounded tops, as I know those are for the 1910 Side Latch, smaller an thicker than the one I need. It's the number 8 in the attachment.
Someone that can help me?
Greetings,
Geert

Yes as  you see, that's the broken part, under it's cutted off and at the top, the hook is also broken, I thought   to repair wit some tin, but that's not strong enough.

geert - Yours is the later type safety release on a wide spring with the button centered on the spring. I am sorry to say but I do not have a spare. I will keep my eye out for one for you.
