Broomhandle C96 Turkish

Does anyone have information about the 1000 pistols supplied to Sultan Abdul-Hamid II? Can you suggest a knowledgeable and trustworthy appraiser?
I have a very interested piece which has been in the family since it came from Turkey. I believe it was a special commemorative made for the sultan personally as it is more elaborate than all other examples I have been able to find. Thank you

If you post it here I will bring it to the attention of many knowledgable collectors that will offer opinions or you could try Jan Still's Luger forum or GunValuesBoard.com.
