Wanting information !!!!
I've aquired a Mauser pistol and with some research Im finding out it could be very valuable.
Serial number in the low 701's with the low grip screw.
Im not a collector and would like to remove it from my possession .

Hello, Jake.  I would be glad to help but you have to be more specific about the pistol.  Complete serial number, markings on the front Gripstrap, evaluation of the finish, and/or pictures would be very useful.

Jake,

Please give Warbird his requested information as it will help evaluate your example.  If it is a LGS, then you will have plenty of people after it.  Your information will help establish, what it is.

Well, you hit the jackpot, Jake.  Depending on condition of the finish (bluing) and the wooden Grip Panels, value of your Low Grip Screw HSc would be between $6,000 and $10,000.  By the way, it was produced in December 1940 and the run began at serial number 700 001.

If you wish to sell it, you can start here but you will need to post some good photos to open a dialogue.  Anything else, let me know.

If you don't have Photoshop or some other graphic program to reduce the file size, you can email the photos to me and I'll reduce them.  adburnham@verizon.net

There is a way to resize in PAINT.  I can teach you that method at a latter date, if you are interested.  Looking forward to seeing the photos you send to Warbird.
