Two Mauser 1910 - few questions from newbie
« on: November 07, 2014, 08:57:46 AM »
Hi,
This is my first topic. Could you tell me something about them?
One (the black one, "SideLatch?") serial number is:  31697

Second one serial number is :No.114440

There is any chance to know something more about them? (year of produce for example?)

Mateusz,
Welcome to the forum. Your pistols are a 1910 Sidelatch made in 1912, the other is a 1910/14 new model made in 1919. The checkering on the wood grip has been re-done and not very well. Both appear to be decent examples. What else were you looking to find out?

Thank you for that information. Could you tell me how much they are worth(Sidelatch and 1910/14)?  (I am new in Mauser Pistols).

Few more photos:

It depends on where you are but I would estimate $300 for the Sidelatch and maybe $200 for the 1910/14 here in the US.

Burgess,
Do you base that primarily on the era's of manufacturing, Pre WWI & Post WWI vs WWI & Third Reich/WW2 or commercial vs military or all the above?
Thank you,
John

All of the above and more like current market (at the time) and condition. Welcome to the forum.
