1914 marking by trigger
« on: August 31, 2015, 11:12:34 PM »
I believe I saw this In a thread before but I can't remember what the consensus was to its meaning, I can't remember if if it was on this forum or the luger gun board. It is on a 1914 in the 230k serial range on gunbroker. The pistol has been on auto relist and hasn't sold

I believe this is one of the unknown inspectors or machinist markings that indicate that the component, in this case the frame, passed or failed a tolerance or that it was made on a certain machine. It is not a known use marking that I am aware of.
