Hi
I'm located in Scotland and enjoy using rifle from .22 BSA Martinis, muzzle loading flintlocks, Swiss K 31 and now a sporterised Mauser.

I recently acquired this from a retiring gamekeeper. It's a sporterised Mauser rebarrelled with a Border Barrels stainless steel barrel in .243. It's fitted with a Timney trigger complete with side safety. It's been proofed here in UK and has matching numbers on the receiver as well as the bolt handle, shroud and flag safety. It also has a different number above the other front receiver ring number that matches that on the underside of the trigger guard. Any help identifying it's possible origin would be much appreciated.
Kind regards
