Near-mint 'sock drawer' HSc
« on: May 21, 2016, 03:34:46 PM »
This week I received a HSc I purchased at an auction. It was a bit of a gamble, as the photos showed a pistol that was looking so good (including the grips) that most mistook it for a refinish/refurb job.

But after receiving the pistol, all turned out to be correct and in excellent condition. The pistol was partially covered with traces of old, dried out, gun grease and it was virtually bone dry.

The photo and scans I made really don't do the pistol justice, but you get an idea of the condition. I guess someone got this pistol issued during the war and decided he didn't have any use for it, planted it in his sock drawer and forgot all about it  :)
