WTP II ,

Auction coming up for a French assembled WTP 11 with a serial number of 6 on it.   Auction company says it is 90%, but it looks closer to 80% to me.  I have heard the argument that if the gun is not serial number 1, then anything above that has little extra collector value.  Anyone buy that argument?

Nope, I have 2 French WTP IIs, one is serial number 14 and I also have a .32 caliber Humpback serial number 22. Low serial numbers are always desirable, of course condition is always a consideration. As far as value is concerned, auction history would clearly support my opinion.

That is what I think also.  Happy someone agrees with my point of view.
