« on: January 23, 2016, 11:29:26 AM »
Going through my new issue of American Rifleman they mention a book I thought everyone would be interested in: Ott- Helmuth von Lossnitzer, Technical director of the Mauser Company, 1933-1945:An Oral Recollection. Its available from Mowbray Publishing tel 800-999-4697.$50 plus post.
I haven't received my copy yet so I can't report on it, but its on a topic we are interested in.

What restrictions do you have on guns in Northern Ireland? Must they be deactivated? How many can you own?

The byf 44 "t" block seems to be in excellent shape although I can't see it all..with the softshell holster, assuming no tears or hole ,rig should be worth about $800-900.
I can't make out a thing on the byf43.The holster is a hardshell and value will depend upon condition, date, and maker.
Use this as a guide for I can't see bore, grips, etc.

Model 1910 Pistol / 1910 question
« on: February 18, 2015, 10:59:27 AM »
Taking the grips off several 1910's I own noticed several numbers on the back strap which seem to have nothing to do with the serial numbers..Are they inspector numbers put there during manufacture? Or what?
Thank you...

Shek,
I really don't know where to tell you to look.I'm not a rifle collector but seems like markings or serial numbers should be around the bolt housing.
