This one arrived today after 4 months of paper work :)
A nice looking M1914 with a 1920 property marking and a L.M.210. Landjägerei Münster police marking.

That is reallllly nice. How come so long?
-
If a gun has to cross a border over here, one can expect to wait for approx. 3 months at least nowadays.
Government funding cutbacks on all levels means there is now just 1 guy handling all the paperwork for gun imports and exports over here. So it takes a minimum of 6 weeks to get the import permit, then the seller needs to obtain his export permit, which also differs from location to location.

Nice gun and good work - is the mag number match?
-
Yes, it has the same '210' property marking.

Great find, Gerben! Congratulations!
-
Yes; very nice. Why did the early 1914s have the milled out section? And, why did they drop the serrated front site later on? thanks
-
Impressive to say the least! It was worth the wait, I am sure.

Any holster that this pistol came with?
