Title: Erma K98 .22 Conversion Kit-Engraved
Post by: Timberdoodle on March 17, 2014, 01:27:02 PM
Hello,  I am wondering if anyone has ever seen an example of the Erma .22 conversion kit that is engraved?  I have an opportunity to purchase one that is engraved but I have never seen or heard of one being engraved before.  The receiver of the kit and the floorplate are engraved.  The clips appear to be standard issue.  One issue other than the questionable engraving is somone has ground the shouder on the bolt to angle and left the ground area in the white.  Serial numbers match on the barrel, bolt and floorplate.  The installation tool shows an inordinate amount of wear given the condition of the rest of the unit, which also makes me wary.

I have not seen an engraved version.  Not sure that is factory work.
