Hello everyone. Firstly, thank you all for accepting my membership! A friend just brought me a 98 he wants to sell (why I don't know, it was his fathers memento from WWII). Info in Blue Book is sketchy at best. I possibly might want to buy it but have no clue as to worth. I estimate 90% condition, it is fairly pristine. Missing the cleaning rod though. I can get pics later but for now this is all I have. Swastika eagle proof marks on barrel and receiver, 44 on receiver and some other proof marks I have no clue of (never really been into these guns). Serial # 36801. He just left with the gun, if more info is needed I can provide pics if necessary. I apologize for the scanty info on such short notice. Thanks up front.
