Title: 1.variation made in 1940 - Norwegian police...
Post by: gebirg on September 27, 2013, 03:05:31 PM
The history goes on...
The 1934 made for Kriegsmarine in 1940 - one of 8000 ex.
Property nr. N 7623 for the north sea fleet, ended up in Norway after 1945
Used by Norwegian police from 45 to apr. 1970...

At the moment in my property, i am not a typical collector, and the fact is that no Norwegian collector is interested in this Norwegian police marked German pistol...

Thats the way it is, in Norway...

I have not seen many Norwegian marked 1934s and with KM markings too. You truly have a peice of history written in steel. Congratulations!

Just saw a 1934 Mauser being offered at auction with Norway Police #.  Pistol has been refinished.  Anyone have information on the number of these that ended up with the Norway police?
