Well, usually this karabiner has been used and marked post war in Norway - but sometimes they show up in privat property...
This byf41, is one of those - all number match beside the bolt - but bolt is in the same block, thats a comfort.
This rifle was stored on the attic to the local head of police in Boe, he was a NS police man...
This rifle, i believe has never been dismounted since 1941, because the storing fat layed between the barrel and stock.
Great example, the serial is clear as ice all the way!!!
Notice the cutted markings on the front piece of stock - they been made during the war, mark my words - NOT post -45 markings!!!

Model 1934 Pistol / 1934 E/655 from Milorg officer...
« on: August 25, 2015, 02:48:07 PM »
This gun was used by an officer in Milorg, short for Millitary organisation (Norwegian resictance controlled from England)[/size]His name was Bjarne Røste, and did some serious sabotage in Elverum and the area around.I bought it from his son yesterday. He got it from his father, and the holster is the one that Bjarne used. The grip bumps is also from the war - not made after 1945.

Mauser Lugers / byf41 with Schiwy safety - cond. 99%
« on: May 20, 2015, 02:26:27 AM »
This must experienced !!P.08 byf41 with Schiwy safety - eagle/655 - serial 3438p.I had with me a lugerekspert from Gjovik to verify that it is not reblued or fixed on, seller said it was...It's not done anything, almost untouched and almost not shot with.German storage fat still lay in the firing pin and bushing for this. Gripplates is almost certainly not taken off before, and are numbers like ...Check magazine - one stainless Haenel/Schmeisser with German labeling eagle / L.

This is shurely a treasure as far as i believe...?
