Title: My recent purchase. Model 1914
Post by: 1oldobie1946 on October 09, 2016, 08:38:36 PM
recent acquisition, a Mauser, Model 1914 made about 1926. It was purchased in a cigar box along with 2 magazines, 1 mauser marked, 1 unmarked, 2 boxes of vintage Remington ammunition, 1 full & 1 missing 29 rounds, also in the cigar box was the cleaning brush and the original manual written in German and dated 1-25 ( Jan 1925) From the condition of the pistol I believe it has only been fired 29 times (29 missing rounds) I will post more photo's after these 2.

close up of some of the markings. You can see some the bright bluing on the trigger and extractor.

Pistol is all matching and in fantastic condition for a 90 year old pistol.

Very nice,

It was probably imported by Stoeger in 1925.
