Mauser Compact DA
« on: December 21, 2017, 02:53:41 PM »
Another one of FEG's exploits was a slightly shorter version of their P9R (marketed by Mauser as the Model 90 DA).

The short version was named the P9RK (Kurz, German for Short) and Mauser brought them to market as the Model Compact DA.

Serial number info is scetchy, the normal version seems to outnumber the shorter one considerably.

The first 2 digits of the serial number correspond with the year of manufacture, which is also struck on the barrel
(91 for 1991).

Frame and magazine are the same as the normal version.

The pistol itself is a clone of the Smith & Wesson model 39 / 59 double action pistol.
