Appraisal Help
« on: July 10, 2018, 04:29:24 PM »
So it has recently been brought to my attention that the individual that appraised my mauser. 32 was way off. I was told that it was a kriegsmarine mauser. 32 that was re purposed for army use (grip strap numbers are not present). he valued it at 4250 . I have now been told that there is no way that is possible and I'm looking for someone to potentially re appraise my pistol as I am trying to sell it right now. Any help would be appreciated. I will say that it is in original form and I'm a 100% sure that it wasn't re finished.

Provided the pistol is legit, I'd say about half of the original appraisal.

Not all of the Kriegsmarine pistols have location markings / numbers, so the fact that this one only has the KM-property marking doesn't mean it was transferred to somewhere outside the navy.

Lots of these went through the UK, as they were responsible for disarming and demilling German navy vessels after WW2.
