Mauser 1914 low serial number blue flame trigger - Value?
« on: September 25, 2018, 09:16:20 PM »
I have a Mauser 1914 with a low serial number 10XXX.  It has the blue flame trigger that I read about on another post.  Can someone give me an idea if this is one of the more collectible models?

Thanks

I need to confirm that you have a .32 caliber model? If it is? it is what I call an Early Production variation, serial number 3000-13500. If its a .25 it would be a Sidelatch model. Both are rarer than your average pocket model but the are not appreciated as such in the market place and usually do not demand higher prices than more common variations.

It is a .32 auto model.  I am trying to get the best price for the widow of a WWII vet.  What do you think it is worth?  Thanks!!

I am going to assume the condition is very good because you described the fire blue on the trigger as being bright but to be accurate with value I would need to see the condition. $450 is the high retail value these seem to be selling for.
