Two years ago, I acquired a '70s Interarms .380 HSc. Then last Fall, an early wartime 7.65 model.
The .380 turned out to be a 'jam-o-matic', along with a very uncomfortable recoil.
The 7.65 was much better on both counts using it's one original mag, though when the slide locks back on this empty mag, it's a struggle to withdraw and while doing so, the slide slams forward.
I'm not really all that disappointed as I never planned either HSc to be my 'carry-gun'.
I did recently buy a spare 7.65 HSc mag online and this one locks the slide back properly, allows easy mag removal, and the slide stays locked back until the mag is reinstalled.
Unfortunately, I haven't yet made it back to a range to test with live ammo.
Happy Motoring, Mark
