About this mauser
« on: October 13, 2021, 11:25:09 AM »
A friend has a Mauser broom handle that she was left by her husband's death.  The serial number is 394482 and is in great condition.  The stock is poor but it has a frog that is in great condition.  There is heavy wear on the latching portion but the rest is mint and marked with date.  I grew up with a select fire Mauser in the house and could never locate a frog for that one.  I believe this is a WW2 bring back.  Any ideas as to the type and possibly a value.  Sorry I don't have a picture but I will attach one on the next post.

The market has gone crazy lately. Your friends C96 could be worth a considerable sum. Pictures to determine condition and originality are a must to access value. Regards,
