HSc 380 Tritium sights
« on: August 21, 2023, 02:01:22 AM »
I have an HSc 380 1977 1 of 5000.  Do yíall have any recommendations for tritium night sights.  My intent is to use it for EDC.  I realize that reloading would be difficult in a tactical situation, but, if I need more than 8 rounds in a EDC situation, Iím toast anyway.

These are quite collectable.

If you want to butcher a HSc, I would recommend finding something else.

To start off, neither Trijicon, TRUGLO or Meprolight make night sights for the HSc.

Additionally, if you were to find a set, only the rear sight is dovetailed into the slide. The front sight is integral to the slide. You would have to find a custom maker to drill the front sight and install a tritium ampule, and I donít believe thereís enough depth to do so.

The job, if possible would probably cost more tan the value of the pistol while ruining its collector value as Vlim has alluded.
