I wonder if any of the Forum readers have come across a 1910 6.35 M/M Mauser that I picked up in the 1960s in the Indianapolis area. It had a nice black case and evidently was a presentation model. The metal was not engraved, but the grips had either ivory or pearl inlays. I think the velvet was green and the back hinge was becoming loose on one end.
I didn't pay all that much for it back then, and I believe made a small profit on it at a gun show. I kind of wish I'd kept it, but I had rotating hobbies and growing children. So, food and shoes were priorities at times, so some things had to go. (Guns, model trains, and old cars...)
