C96 Magazine Floor Plate

Good evening everyone,
I have a C96 Mauser that needs a magazine floor plate. I ordered one but it is not the correct one. The one of the left of the picture is the old one that is wider at the point that it locks into the magazine well. Can anyone advise why mine is not like others that I’ve seen?

We would need to more about your C96. I suspect that you may have a non-Mauser C96. Regards,
