new Mauser 1914 owner

(1/1)

German Llama:
I recently traded for a 1914 in pretty tough shape. None of the springs were close to correct and the weapon barely cycled. After finding a new spring set and some major cleaning - she runs like new. it is a fabulous little .25ACP with no finish. It will stay on my desk unless it goes to the range.

1914mauser:
The .25 caliber pocket models are usually refered to as 1910s. Yours would be referred to as a 1910/14 standard post WWI model. Regards,

German Llama:
I am here to learn all that I can - Thank you.
I am now the proud owner of a 1910/14.

mauserfan:
Where did you get the replacement spring set?

German Llama:
I got the springs from Wolff springs (  http://www.gunsprings.com/Semi-Auto%20Pistols/MAUSER/1910%20%26%201934/cID1/mID40/dID170 ). None of the springs were even close to spec's when I got the pistol and if barely worked. Wolff was about 3 weeks in shipping and the Mauser runs great now. The old springs are in the photo. I need to shoot a new "family photo".
