Mauser Cannon Dial indicator ?

Hi Everyone, I am new to this site and it looks very nice.
I have a mauser dial indicator tool and I have been told it was to measure the inside of large guns or cannons.it is in a wooden box and looks brand new. if anyone is interested I am selling it. Please let me know and I will post some pictures
