First Mauser Pistol

I just purchased a Mauser 1914/34 in an estate. First Mauser I have ever owned, so I'm not real familiar with the firing pin/mechanism. Should there be a hole at the rear of the pistol where the spring is seated? Or is this missing something?
I've posted a few pictures. It is in excellent condition.

Welcome to the forum. You have correctly identified your pistol as a 1914/34 but I would add transitional type 2. The hole in the rear of the slide is where the striker/firing pin protrudes so the shooter can see the pistol is cocked.  Nothing is missing unless you dont see anything when it is cocked.

Thank you! Unfortunately there is something missing, since there is just a hole. I've found one online, so I will order and then test fire. I paid $400 for the pistol, and now $50 for the firing pin, so I believe I am in this pistol at a decent price even with the new firing pin.

Maybe someone can help. The only firing pin I can find is for a 1910 or 1914. Will this work with the 1914/34 transitional? And is this supposed to be a 1 piece part or a two piece part?
Any help will be much appreciated.
