Gebird, I have a couple 1934 Mauser's not to far off serial # wise from you. And both are 655 marked. They are consecutively serial numbers. One has the block lettering like the one you show. Interesting pistols and cool to see one so close to mine # wise. (The one you show is about 100 # off of mine) thanks for showing.
