1942 Mauser HSc
pardt:
In answer to your earlier question about the slide bite on your hand I have fired several of mine and never had that happen. I would say its quite likely your hand size
Josefius:
I found a firing pin for the .32 Mauser HSc, had it installed and found that the old firing pin was loose, the main block and the pin itself was moving back and forth. The new pin didn't have the two circular pins on the bottom of the firing pin block (center piece of the firing pin) and was blued. Now when the safety is on, it doesn't protrude from the breech. I will test fire it tomorrow morning and let you guys know how it functions.
jcorl:
Sounds like you got the correct firing pin. Good luck at the range.
Jim
Josefius:
I took it out to the range tonight, it chambers a round with the safety on, it decocks with a round in the chamber (safety on pull trigger) without firing :) I shot two boxes of 50 Aguilla .32 and only had one FTF, I'm guessing it was the round or a fluke, since I've never had one before, but I haven't had much experience with this brand, just S&B (Sellier & Bellot). I'm pretty happy, my favorite vintage pistol now.
jcorl:
Did your hand get hurt on the slide coming back?
Jim
