Thanks for inserting the photo. The problem with your approach is that if I move the file location the image will disappear from the post.

I have been reading the SMF Forum Community support info and it looks like this problem has been around for a couple of years and relates to images that have been modified using Adobe Photoshop (as mine were). I'm going to try and upload again using some different formats and see if I can find a way ....

YEAH! That worked. I converted the file format from jpg to GIF in Adobe Photoshop and it posted fine. That's what I will do in the future.
