model 2000 mauser .308

What might be a range of value for a Mauser model 2000 circa 1973 in .308 Win (7.62 NATO) be? It has been a great rifle and I don't intend parting with it (hunted with it this winter) . Just interested because I never see it referred to anywhere. Thanks a bunch for any light that can be shed. mauser website only show it in history line with little info. the marking on the barrel is also a mystery to me, a lions head ? and a shield ? markings  :-\
