1914 Mauser 7.65
« on: June 08, 2016, 04:19:06 AM »
I have inherited a Mauser 7.65/32 cal,  model 1914, I think, pistol. Serial 275xxx. It has a clip that does not fit. It is also missing a grip screw. I would like to know where I can purchase the proper clip and a grip screw. Also how many rounds will the proper clip hold?  Looking around the gun, the numbers match, the finish is at least 85-90%, inside the barrel looks good too. Wood grips are smooth-not checkered.  Not interested in this gun as a shooter, after shooting a clip, but would like to have it complete with a little more info and approximate value. Thank you for your help.

To find an original magazine try GunBroker.com, it will cost $100-130. Aftermarket magazines are problematic. You might find a grip screw there or you can try vintagegungrips.com. Without pictures value is hard to say but most likely between $200-350.
