Not 1968-1969 HSC? New member

Hello all, new to the forum, looking at HSc .380 with a serial # of 01.9699 this is before the range of 01.1001 to 01.1500 for the 1968-1969 .380 range mauser production? Any help here would be greatly appreciated, wondering what year of manufacture?

Welcome to the forum.  I don't know why you think 01.9699 is lower than 01.1001 but obviously it's not.  Anyway, HSc 01.9699 is 1970s production.

OOPS, thanks Warbird, must have been half a sleep, not sure what I was looking at? Anyway, the 1968-1969 production shows only 500, how much does that low production number add to value ? Thanks

It adds nothing to value.  The only thing that would is nickel plating and prototypes.
