Wartime holster for HSc?

Got hold of this black leather holster - the HSc fits perfectly...


What kind of leather is this?
The number inside the flap could be a pistol number for HSc made in 1942???
Or a feldpostnumber...?

That is pebble grain leather.  Nice design.   Have you ever seen "drop" holster for the HSc?

Thank you - no i have not seen dropholster for the HSc...

I have a friend with an HSc drop holster.  I will try to get a photo of it to post here.
