Mauser 1934 markings Unusual

Mauser 1934 that I am considering purchasing has  "Germany" stamped in the slide.I have not seen this before;  Could someone enlighten me on the significance of this.

Welcome to the forum. The pictured pistol is a 1914 model not a 1934. The easiest way to tell the difference is the slide address. All 1914s start "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER..." where a 1934 and the transitional models that proceed the 1934 models will have an address that starts "MAUSER WERKE.....". The true 1934 models are known for the later curved back grip. The "Germany" marking on any of the pocket models indicate that they were intended for export, usually to a English speaking country.
