Mauser HSc .32 cal. repair in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Mn area
« on: March 11, 2017, 04:29:36 PM »
Hello. I hope it is ok for me to inquire if anyone is capable, or knows of, repair in this area. I do have 2 magazines that are working, but only with a maximum of 6 cartridges. I suspect there is part wear that needs attention and/or part replacement. Thanks for any reply.

Hi briefty.  If you suspect it's just a Magazine Spring, why not replace it yourself and save $$$?  Order replacement Springs from Wolff Gunsprings here:
https://www.gunsprings.com/MAUSER/HSc%20(EARLY%20MODELS)/cID1/mID40/dID171
A very reliable dealer with good quality merchandise.

Thanks Warbird. I left the gun and mags with a pretty skilled vet this last week. He thoroughly cleaned the gun and attempted tweaking both mags. One was the odd one that came with the gun - curved floorplate, and a new Triple K.
Neither will feed the first round without racking twice. I do like the gun, but was still avoiding the purchase on an original mag until I know nothing else is wrong. Appreciate your assistance.
