Conversion
« on: June 19, 2017, 11:06:20 AM »
We have a forum member that would like to convert his post war .380 to a post war .32 caliber.  I have never performed that conversion, so I thought I would bring it up here for all to read.  It may be as simple as just changing out the barrels, but I wanted all the bases covered, so we all could rest easy.  I have a .41 mag project that I hope does not blow up in my face, so I am hesitant to give gunsmith advice to anyone.

That's really all there is to it.  Just be sure it is a 1970's vintage .32 Barrel or it may not lock up in the Frame properly.  It may also be necessary to change the Recoil Spring (weaker) but see how it functions when firing before doing that.  An excellent move, by the way!

Thank you Alan.  I feel much better that you handled the question.
