Title: 1942 grips (stocks) question
Post by: Johnnyk on February 15, 2018, 05:11:20 AM
I have an HSc on the way to my local Cabelas from a West Virginia Cabelas.  S.N. is 802xxx, which look like 1942 production.  Looks like a civilian model from what I can tell from the two photos on the Cabelas website.  It shows it has black plastic stocks.  Would this be correct for the time period and it being a civilian model?

Yes ... correct on both counts.

Commercial model is the term I use.
