Makes sense why I could not pinpoint exactly what it was. I would see listings and pictures of two similar Mauser pistols but they would be labeled as two completely different models. What do these 1914s typically go for these days? Thank you again for your help.

Thank you so much for the reply! Been boggling my mind between a 1910 and a 1914. It does indeed have the stamp in front of the rear sight and the crown U proof behind the rear sight.
