I have this Mauser 1914/34 Kriegsmarine Marked and would like to know if it is authentic.


See photos below (could only load 4 photos, but if need more I can on subsequent replies)



SN: 548765


     N 4581 (on front strap and Magazine)


     Numbers matching throughout

Thanks for the information.   I went into the shop and sized the barrel;   clearly a 7.65mm.   I let them know to correct their listing.

During WWII, did Mauser produce a wartime HCS in .380 (9mm Kurz).   


I searched the web and could not find any definitive answer. 


I found an HSC WWII listed as .380, and I was not aware of any produced.

Okay, I have it re-assembled and working properly now.  All the tips helped tremendously.


One question;  late war and mid-war range magazines;  are they interchangeable.  I have noticed that when I purchased another HSc off gun broker SN 897260 (and by the way, thanks for the input on the grips issue), the magazine from the mid-war HSc (SN 781899) does not chamber rounds very well in the late war HSc, if at all.  Just a coincidence for this magazine or a standard difference in the types of magazines.

thanks Warbird;  I will start working on this and get to the bottom of it.  I ordered new spring (relatively inexpensive) and will check that process out.  I will keep you posted.

Model HSC Pistol / Need Input: Original WWII grips ??

This HSc is on gunbroker.com for sale, and seller indicates all WWII original. 


Grips appear Interarms type checkered patterns.  Were any of the WWII pistols using this type of grips (I could not find any on the internet.


The rest of the pistol looks good and accurate, but if any comment on that would be appreciated.

Hi all, i am having a similar issue as posted here and have followed the above steps.  (I am replacing the hammer on my 1943 HSc with another wwii hammer purchased and bothl parts match and no signifcant wear on the replacement hammer;  the original hammer thumb grip broke off when firing).


I had the same problem of the guide lever sticking up, then pushed it down before placing the hammer hinge pin.   Pistol then re- assembled properly and all functioning except one issue;


I can remove the magazine when the slide is in resting position, but cannot remove the magazine after the slide is racked back/locked position, no matter how i press the magazine catch release  (unless i reach in through the ejector port, press down on the magazine follower and let the slide move forward; i can then release the magazine). 


Any thoughts or ideas?
