Title: Norwegian HSc -
Post by: vlim on March 08, 2016, 02:05:37 PM
Thanks to one of our forum members, I was able to close a gap in the HSc collection I am putting together.

I contacted a number of Norwegian collectors in the past, explaining that I was looking for a Norwegian Police marked example. Most told me I was crazy, that this was not a collectible and others didn't reply at all. Asle did, and he helped me to find a very nice example, including Norwegian police holster.

After a long, long paper trail and some transportation issues, the pistol made it safely here and I was able to look it over. Nice Waffenamt marked military HSc that spent the remainder of its service life with the police in Norway.

Nice going.  I bid on one and lost. I think they are special. Congratulations on your hard work.

Nice looking pistol with extra history = character. I love the wood on those grips. I was watching a recent GB auction which ended with a significantly high round of bids. Would be proud to have your's in my collection! Congratulations.

I would add my congratulations on your new acquisition.  These Norwegian HSc pistols are a very special Post-War variation.  This is new to the database.

I too watched the recent Norwegian marked example on gb and was surprised by how much it went for.
I was hoping it would go lower as I need one for my collection.
Nice example and thanks for showing
