Howdy, I'm a new member; have a Mint Swedish Mauser (1916), and this is my first Mauser pistol...
I just bought a Mauser 1910 on GunBroker.com and would like to know a little about it. It is a 6.35 Cal. without a side latch?, no import marking, and a pretty high S/N....384523. I think it is about a 80%+ gun? Not interested in value so much. I plan to keep it, and I know what I just paid for it so.....Thanks, Richard

Richard,
Welcome to the forum. You have a 1910/34 transitional model, defined by "MAUSER WERKE..."slide address and straight back grip. I'll need the complete serial number, I can't make out in pic, to tell you year of manufacture and type? These were made in the early 1930s. You appear to have a very nice example. Congratulations!

Thanks for the welcome and the answer, S/N. 384523

The year will have to wait till later when I have access to my data. Is the right side marked "Mauser-6,35", "Cal-6,35" or "Cal-6,35 D.R.P..."? will tell type 1, 2 or 3.
