I recently found a C96 cleaning up some old junk on my property and I was wondering if you could tell me any information or history about it. Is it possible to tell when it was made? I don't plan on selling it, but would like to know the estimated value.
Thanks in advance.

Best guess is it is a pre-war (WWI) commercial made 1900-1912. It has a U.S. retailer marking. The front sight and grips have been modified. Value is in the $1000-1500 range. Regards,
