General Mauser Rifle Questions / Persian Mauser

I picked one up for $150 because someone had buggered up the floor plate and it won’t latch. Can I use a K98 floor plate or do I need to get one from another Persian?

Argentine 1909 Rifle / Mauser Safety Issue

I am relatively new to collecting milsurp guns and have a K-98 and a Persian Mauser. Can't budge the safety. If I drown in CLP I can get it to move to the other two positions. The issue gets worse after I strip and clean. What do I need to do to remedy this problem. Both have all parts matching.
