Model HSC Pistol / Re: HSc 380 Tritium sights
« on: September 19, 2023, 06:15:17 AM »
To start off, neither Trijicon, TRUGLO or Meprolight make night sights for the HSc.

Additionally, if you were to find a set, only the rear sight is dovetailed into the slide. The front sight is integral to the slide. You would have to find a custom maker to drill the front sight and install a tritium ampule, and I don’t believe there’s enough depth to do so.

The job, if possible would probably cost more tan the value of the pistol while ruining its collector value as Vlim has alluded.

Model HSC Pistol / Re: Purchase aftermarket grips/magazines

Regarding magazines; there are several on Gunbroker right now.

FYI, the .32 mags and 380 ACP are interchangeable. Mauser built the pistol to take either one. That’s why you can exchange barrels and shoot either caliber. However, 380 is harder on wear and tear.

Got mine this weekend. Gave me something to read instead of watching the halftime junk.

Besides, the ads this year weren’t very good.

Love the book!

Thank you for the information. I have the HSc book due for delivery today and am looking forward to reading it but wasn’t sure if the production date would be in the book for the Interarms imports.

Model HSC Pistol / HSc in nickel plate
« on: February 02, 2023, 12:09:26 AM »
Hi,

I found a HSc in 7.65 caliber that was very well treated over the years. It’s a beautiful model with slide and frame in nickel plating and hammer, trigger, safety and internals in blue. I believe the barrel may be stainless steel. There is no visible wear to the plating and it came with blue leatherette box, manual, test target and what appears to be an original receipt from the ‘80s. One magazine has a f,at floorplate, and the other has a finger rest.

Serial number is 00.12460  The slide and frame serials match and the last 3 digits are stamped on the underside of the barrel.

What would the manufacture date be? I’ll post pictures soon. 👍
