As mentioned previously, please provide pictures of the broken piece for further clarification.

I don't know, but I personally didn't understand the question at all. What's wrong with the gun and what are you trying to weld? Is the extractor broken?

Well, the topic starter probably doesn't want to solve his riddle...

It's certainly not an abbreviation for an infantry regiment.

May I ask you for the serial number? I know another Mauser with J.r. characters and with the same series 20xxx.

You know for sure that pressing the Lock Frame Stop is only successful when the hammer is in the cocked position?

Thanks for serial number, i really appreciate it!
Since you wrote a couple posts back, that the serial number starts with 85, i assumed you bought the 8548 model from Hermann Historica, since your pistol showed some similiar blemishes.
Was this just a typo or it is it a different weapon?

Thanks for the pictures, these are great!
I´m glad to hear that the trigger came off with no issue.
I´m still interested in the serial number, would you mind sharing it with me?
I assume that i probably won´t need it, since i´m assuming that the last two digits are 48, but it would be great to know for sure.

I'm curious, did you manage to get it out based on the steps provided?
Also, would you mind sharing some images of your weapon?
Ideally like one from each angle (top, back and from the side)
I'm particular curious about the serial number and how it looks overall.
If you are hesitant to share it in public, i would be grateful if you could share it with me via PM.
I would like these images for my collection.

In general, as you can see on the picuture, the piece is sitting on two nodges (A and B), so you need to lift it first up a bit (C) and then in pull in direction D.
Normally the piece should slide out easily after a bit of pressure. If it does not slide out easily, then it usally means its corroded or there is some dirt there.
I suggest you try some rust remover or some other cleaning product.
If its stuck there due to dirt, you may use some wood piece to carefully hammer it upwards.

Thanks for the explanation. I think my question has been misunderstood. Then I ask differently: Do you have a certain Conehammer pistol or do you just want to improve your general knowledge?
