The C96 is a Pre-war commercial. It looks good from what I can see in the 3 pictures. Values on these have gone crazy of late. If all matching similar examples are being priced in the $2500-3000+ range. Is the stock matching? I would need to see a lot more to accurately evaluate value. Regards,

Your best bet is to find a replacement from a doner .25 in close serial number to your example. Regards,

Best guess is it is a pre-war (WWI) commercial made 1900-1912. It has a U.S. retailer marking. The front sight and grips have been modified. Value is in the $1000-1500 range. Regards,

Welcome to the forum. Your 1910/14 Mauser was made in 1925. It is one of the most common variations of the .25 caliber pocket model. Feeding problems are usually due to the ammo, magazine or springs. Regards,

I have heard of these grips though this is the first pair I have seen outside of books. I believe them to be original because I have not heard of them being re-produced. These may of been made by a company other than Mauser as plastic or Bakelite is a specialty to manufacture. Regards,
