Title: No import markings?
Post by: sjmarshall34 on May 09, 2022, 09:42:41 PM
Hello, this is my first post. We acquired a 1944 HSc heer issued with black bakelite or plastic grips that have the M9 markings. All numbers match and all markings are correct. Serial number is 884162. I expected to see import markings somewhere but they aren't on this gun. Is this a common thing? All of my other milsurp items have import markings. Could this be a bring back? I have no documents. Also is there a way to narrow down what month it was made? Thank you in advance!

No problem with that gun.   None of mine have import markings.   I would guess it is most likely a vet bring back.   Congratulations on a beautiful gun.   Jim
